Suriya Moves on to Mollywood?

Shuffling from one industry to the other is quite a common scene in the tinsel town. The trend is catchy not just in the case of actors, but also technicians.

After carving a niche for himself in Kollywood, Suriya gradually eye on the neighboring Tollywood and did succeed in winning the hearts of the Telugu viewers. He even earned an impression in Hindi film industry as well.

And now, the actor is bracing up for his Mollywood debut. It is learnt that director Roshan has been holding discussions with Suriya regarding a role in his upcoming movie Mumbai Police. The film-maker first confirmed Prithviraj, but bid adieu to him after finializing Mammotty.

Though the veteran actor didn’t came out with an official statement in this regard, the news of Mammootty doing the lead role in Mumbai Police did created sensation in the film circuit. But then, with Suriya being considered for playing the protagonist, it is being thought that the film would be Tamil-Malayalam bilingual.

The hearsay is being corroborated with the fact that Suriya graced the recent Kerala State Award function held in Kozhikkod as a special guest. Well, let’s wait and see for the end result!
